Its a.... BABY!
Bo and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a little bundle of joy! The baby should be here some time in April so I'm sure I will be a bit more active with this blog. In about 4 weeks we will get to go in and possibly hear the baby's heartbeat! I am so excited!!!
In light of the news we have decided to stay in good ole OKC! We found a great apartment that we both just love, and are really anxious to start settling in. Bo will start a new job next week and I will continue to work with Platinum for the rest of the season. We have has so much fun with the platinum crew this summer and couldn't be more blessed with great friends and co-workers surrounding us. Bo will also start at the American Top Team Gym in town in the following weeks. The only way oklahoma could get better is if it wasnt 112 degrees every day!
Short post today but much more is on the way!

From Idaho to OKC and the beginning of the summer!
The first few weeks of work have been a little crazy due to the licensing situation in Oklahoma. All of the guys have to take a test to get licensed in the state of Oklahoma and the test has proved to be annoyingly difficult to pass. So we have been staying in hotels over the Texas boarder and working out of Texas until everyone can pass the test. Kind of a pain but as a lot of us OA's and wives have said, "were lovin life in the La Quinta!!" Luckily most of our guys as of last week have passed the test so they can work in OKC! Just a handful of guys left and we will all get to live in our lovely apartments in the city!
The apartment we are living in for the summer are amazing! I am loving the full sized kitchen, compared to the closet kitchen I had before and the washer and dryer. haha makes life so much easier. Both of us love the pools and gym right in the complex to go play at when we have free time and Bo loves having a multi-roomed house to mess up! :) We live pretty much in the middle of the city, so we can get to pretty much anything in 5ish minutes. The weather down here is pretty crazy though, I am so not used to the heat or the humidity... or the TORNADO'S! A couple weeks ago the mid-west was hit with several tornado's and one was really close to the apartment complex in OKC. Some of our friends were evacuated to shelter and eventually they went home without any problems. We were in Texas at the time and also had to go to safety but after about 30 minutes everything was alright!
For now we are just working and enjoying the new views! Life is pretty busy and pretty crazy but we are loving every day and making the most of it. :)

Big Changes!
Starting off about where I left off... (im getting lazy at bloggin!) Bo won his most recent fight in Idaho Falls thus making him 5-0! He also had an article about him in the Post Register which was pretty fun! He has all of his fights up on YouTube now, so if you are interested in seeing them just search Bo Asay MMA and they should show up. And of course, We'd love to thank Kingz MMA, in particular Eric, Frank, Nick & the team for spending so much of their time to help Bo train and get ready.
We have been making a lot of big choices this past month! First off we decided that this summer we will be going to Oklahoma City with Platinum Protection. Bo will be a sales representative and I will get to work in the office (im stoked!). We were lucky to have Bo's cousins Brooke & Tyler Mickelsen introduce us into a really awesome company with lots of great people, we can't wait to get out there already! Bo is leaving this weekend and I will be leaving after finals in May. The only thing I am not excited for is the 20 hour drive! Hopefully my Norma Jean will survive the trek.
After OKC we have decided to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico (a place that is hotter than anywhere else I have ever lived and also terribly difficult for me to attempt spelling.) We plan on moving down there in the fall so that bo will be able to train MMA full time at Greg Jackson's Gym, known for being one of the best places to train in the country. Bo is very excited to do everything he can to make it as a fighter. After we get our state residency we will most likely be attending the University of NM so that I can finish up my degree and Bo can get workin on becoming a physical therapist!

All and all its lots of changes and a lot of moving (blah packing!) but we are truely excited to embark on this adventure together and see some new places! We will miss our family and friends, especially our KINGZ MMA Crew, but plan on being back :)

Time to Catch up!
WOW, it has been a long time since I updated this up! Lets start with the Wedding! December 3rd Bo and I were happily married in the Idaho Falls temple on a cold, friday moring. We had a wonderful time with those who could attend the temple with us and all of those who stopped by at the reception as well! I had so much help decorating for the reception and it turned out so much better than I ever could have imagined. After I smashed some cake into my husbands face we scampered off to Destinations Inn for the honeymoon!
I will have lots of pictures up soon! If you would like to see a preview of some of our Wedding pictures visit my lovely photographers blog. Bethany Baird But for now I will share a few highlights!

We also had a lot of fun sharing our first holiday season together! Luckily both of our families live less than a mile apart from eachother on the same road so we were able to do a little of everything with everyone! We had fun with the Asay's participating in the traditional movie marithon. Well... Bo did, I fell asleep after the first movie loosing the challenge of staying up all night! We also spent the traditional Christmas Eve at the Burks/Ford home opening presents and watching some good ole christmas cartoons! I also got to help out with making hundreds of christmas cookies... and I ate more than my fair share! Below is the Burks/Ford Family Christmas Photo complete with Grandma, Bo and the doggies. :) New Years we started our own traditions by having a bunch of friends over to the teeny tiny apartment to watch the ball drop!
Since I last posted Bo has had two more MMA wins! He is now 4-0 and we couldn't be more proud. Starting the year of right he had a fight at Skyline Highschool against Austin Miller. The fight went fast and we are still trying to find a video to post! Bo won by knockout in 6 seconds setting the record for fastest knockout in Idaho. Bo is still highly irritated that he hasn't been able to see the video yet. Roughly two weeks after that fight we made the trip up to boise for his 4th fight. (here is the link for that one!) We had a great time with the team and went home happy. Bo won this fight quickly and we are looking foward to more fights soon! We will keep you all updated! Bo and I are getting settled in our cute tiny little place and enjoying our newlywed status! Hopefully I will find a camera to take a few pictures of it haha its pretty little but were loving it. At least anyway I am loving decorating it. Bo is perfectly content with our TV. In the weeks to come Bo will just be training for his next fight! We would love for anyone interested to come and support KINGZ MMA! In the meantime, I will just be staying in school... blah. Hopefully this weather lights up or my driving gets better... I think ive gotton our poor car stuck about 5 times since we got married... eh Bo needs the extra workout! ;)
